2018 TxCFR Conference Proposal Submissions

TxCFR encourages new and established professionals as well as graduate and undergraduate students to submit a proposal for the 2018 TxCFR Conference.

Proposals may be made in the following categories:

  • Research Papers - Presented in a panel presentation format

  • Workshop - 1-hour interactive and experiential presentation

  • Roundtable Discussions - Thoughtful discussions on a particular family-related topic

  • Poster Session - Poster summarizing results/implications of family-related research

 

Each Proposal will require contact information and brief biography (50 words or less) for each author/presenter, as well as the presentation title, summary, and abstract (500 to 1000 words).

 

All proposals will be peer-reviewed in a blind review process to determine acceptance.
If accepted to present, any author that is presenting must register for the TxCFR 2018 Conference.

All presentation rooms will be equipped with digital projectors and screens. NOTE:  You must bring your own laptop/presentation device. If you have any additional AV needs (i.e., paper flip chart), please list them in the space below:

Please upload an abstract of your presentation including the title of the presentation and a summary (500-1000 WORDS), including any references. Do NOT include any identifying information about the presenter(s). This document will be used for blind review. Please upload a MS Word/DocX document.

TERMS OF SUBMISSION: The deadline is 11:59 p.m. CST, January 1st, 2018. Acceptance notifications will be sent by January 31st, 2018. Authors' contact information will only be used within TxCFR. All proposals will be peer-reviewed in a blind review process to determine acceptance. If accepted to present, any author that is presenting must register for the TxCFR 2018 Conference. Failure to register will result in the accepted presentation being omitted from the conference program. You must agree to the TERMS OF SUBMISSION described above in order for your proposal to be considered for acceptance.
