2023 TxCFR Student Poster Competition Submissions
The Texas Council on Family Relations (TxCFR) invites students to submit poster presentations for consideration at the 2023 TxCFR Conference. Posters addressing the conference theme of Policy, Research and Practice, are encouraged, however, all posters within the field of family science and that meet the eligibility requirements are welcome.
Eligibility: The first author or sole author on the poster must 1) be an undergraduate or graduate student, 2) register for and attend the 2023 TxCFR Conference, and 3) must follow the required guidelines for poster submission. Posters must reference scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles to be considered for this competition. Posters may feature comprehensive reviews of literature, research proposals, or completed research studies. In addition to these basic requirements, posters will be judged on the following criteria:
Comprehensiveness in terms of relevant background research and theory
Clarity in written and oral communication
Structure and organization
Potential implications for practitioners or researchers that are current and significant
Deadline: Poster abstracts submissions must be received by December 15, 2022. Students must present their poster at the 2023 TxCFR Conference during the student poster session. Judges will be present during the session, and winners will be notified at the end of the student poster session.
Submit by 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on December 15, 2022!
